Using Filters under GraphEdit

This page describes how to select and insert filters for constructing filter graphs in GraphEdit.

FocusShare includes the following developed DirectShow filters.

bulletTransmit data (DirectShow media sample) by IPv6/IPv4
bulletReceive data (DirectShow media sample) by IPv6/IPv4
bulletConvert video format
bulletPerform non-linear zooming
bulletCombine two video images having different resolutions and frame rates
bulletObtain mouse position (using DirectInput)
bulletCombine video and pointer information
bulletCombine four video images (not used in this tool but can be used for combining four screens)

Developed DirectShow filters can be accessed by selecting [DirectShow Filters] under Insert Filters in GraphEdit as shown by the following screen shots.

 

Transmit data (DirectShow media sample) by IPv6/IPv4

This filter is named [Multicast Server] under [DirectShow Filters].

 

Receive data (DirectShow media sample) by IPv6/IPv4

This filter is named [Multicast Client] under [DirectShow Filters].

 

Convert video format

This filter is named [Video Format Transform] under [DirectShow Filters].

 

Perform non-linear zooming

This filter is named [Non-linear zoom] under [DirectShow Filters].

 

Combine two video images having different resolutions and frame rates

This filter is named [Image Composition] under [DirectShow Filters].

 

Obtain mouse position (using DirectInput)

This filter is named [Pointer Position] under [DirectShow Filters].

 

Combine video and pointer information

This filter is named [Pointer Mixer] under [DirectShow Filters].

 

Combine four video images (not used in this tool but can be used for combining four screens)

This filter is named [4 Image Composition] under [DirectShow Filters].
